My Services

Where do I start?
$0.00

Feeling overwhelmed or unsure what kind of help you need? Start here.

Sometimes the hardest part is simply figuring out where to begin. You may have a problem, concern, dispute, document, court notice, business question, or personal situation and have no idea what type of professional you should speak with—or whether you need an attorney at all.

This complimentary introductory consultation gives you an opportunity to briefly explain what is happening and what you are trying to accomplish. Attorney Shay will listen, help you identify the general nature of your concern, and provide direction about possible next steps or resources that may be helpful.

You do not need to know the legal terminology, the name of a particular service, or even whether your situation is a legal matter. Just tell me what is happening, and we can start there.

Best for: People who are feeling lost, overwhelmed, or simply do not know what kind of help they need.

Length: Up to 15 minutes
Fee: FREE FREE FREE
Available: Virtual or by telephone.

This introductory service is intended to help identify your needs and is not a substitute for a full legal consultation, legal analysis, or legal representation.

Let’s Talk It Through
$150.00

“I know what I need help with and want guidance.”

You know what you need help with—you just need some guidance, organization, or a second set of eyes.

A General Consultation is designed for individuals who already have an idea of what they would like to discuss but may not need formal legal advice or an in-depth legal analysis.

Maybe you are trying to make an important decision, understand a complicated situation, organize your next steps, prepare for a difficult conversation, review general information, brainstorm solutions, understand a process, or determine what type of professional assistance you should pursue next.

During your consultation, we can talk through the situation, identify your objectives, discuss practical considerations, organize your questions and concerns, and develop possible next steps.

This service is also a good option when your concern overlaps with legal, business, professional, administrative, or everyday life issues but you are not yet seeking a formal legal opinion.

Best for: People who know what they want to discuss but are looking primarily for guidance, clarity, strategy, organization, or assistance deciding what to do next.

Length: Up to 30 minutes
Fee: $150
Available: Virtual, in person, or by telephone.

If it becomes apparent that your question requires individualized legal advice or legal analysis, Attorney Shay may recommend scheduling a Legal Consultation.

Legal Strategy Session
$500.00

“I have a legal issue and need individualized legal advice.”

A private, one-on-one session with Attorney Shay focused on your specific legal questions, circumstances, options, and next steps.

The Legal Consultation is the most comprehensive consultation offered. This one-hour appointment is intended for individuals who have a specific legal issue and want meaningful time with an attorney to understand the situation, discuss the law as it may apply to their circumstances, evaluate options, and develop a clearer path forward.

This is not intended to be a rushed conversation. The goal is to give you dedicated time to tell your story, ask questions, understand the issues that matter, and leave the consultation better informed about your options.

Depending on your matter and the information available, your one-hour consultation may include:

  • A detailed discussion of the facts and history of your situation;

  • Identification of the primary legal issues and questions that may need to be addressed;

  • Discussion of your goals, concerns, priorities, and desired outcome;

  • Explanation of legal concepts, procedures, terminology, and potential options;

  • Discussion of the strengths, weaknesses, risks, and practical considerations associated with different approaches;

  • Review and discussion of relevant documents you provide, when appropriate and feasible within the consultation;

  • Identification of important deadlines, court dates, notices, documents, or other issues requiring attention;

  • Discussion of potential strategies and possible next steps;

  • Guidance about additional documents, evidence, records, or information you may need to gather;

  • Discussion of whether you may be able to handle the matter yourself, require limited legal assistance, or should consider retaining an attorney for representation;

  • An opportunity to ask your legal questions directly and receive individualized guidance based upon the information available during the consultation; and

  • If appropriate, a discussion about whether Attorney Shay may be available to provide additional legal services or representation after the consultation.

You are encouraged to come prepared with your questions and any important documents, correspondence, notices, contracts, pleadings, court papers, timelines, or other information that may help Attorney Shay understand your situation. Providing relevant information before the appointment, when requested, can help make your consultation as productive as possible.

Best for: Individuals with a specific legal problem, pending court matter, dispute, legal document, deadline, potential claim, legal decision, or situation requiring individualized legal guidance.

Length: Up to 60 minutes
Fee: $500
Available: Virtual, in person, or by telephone.

Important: A consultation is a limited legal service. Purchasing or attending a Legal Consultation does not automatically mean that Attorney Shay or Negron Law has agreed to represent you after the consultation. Any continuing representation or additional legal services must be separately agreed upon and, when required, confirmed through a written engagement agreement. Legal advice can only be provided regarding matters for which Attorney Shay is licensed or otherwise authorized to practice.

Negrón Law + Legally Shay

Negron Law is the legal practice; Legally Shay is the law firm’s public-facing media and educational platform. The same attorney is behind both, but they serve different purposes.

Negron Law and Legally Shay are connected, but they serve different purposes.

Negron Law is the law practice through which Attorney Shay provides professional legal services to clients. This includes consultations, legal advice, document preparation, negotiations, court representation, case strategy, and other legal services. When you hire Attorney Shay to represent you in a legal matter, your representation is handled through Negron Law and governed by your attorney-client engagement agreement.

Legally Shay is a media, education, and commentary platform created by Attorney Shay as part of the broader Negron Law brand. Through the Legally Shay YouTube channel and related content, Attorney Shay discusses legal news, trending cases, court proceedings, legal issues, and other topics of public interest from an attorney’s perspective.

On Legally Shay, Attorney Shay may analyze cases, explain legal concepts, discuss publicly available information, and offer her professional commentary and opinions. The goal is to make the law more understandable, accessible, and interesting to the general public.

Legally Shay is not a separate law firm and is not a substitute for hiring an attorney. Content presented through Legally Shay is intended for general information, education, news, and commentary. It is not individualized legal advice, and watching a video, commenting on a livestream, subscribing to the channel, sending a message, or otherwise interacting with Legally Shay does not create an attorney-client relationship.

If you need Attorney Shay to review your particular circumstances, provide legal advice, or represent you in a legal matter, you must contact Negron Law and establish an attorney-client relationship through the firm's normal consultation and engagement process.

A simple way to remember the difference is:

Negron Law = Legal Representation
Legally Shay = Legal Commentary, Education & Conversation

And both are powered by Attorney Shay.

Legally Shay has a more conversational, personality-driven voice without clients confusing everything I say on YouTube with advice being given by their attorney in their individual case.
